This is a club for those that wish to progress with their flatwork through the levels and understand the foundations of equine training. This exciting club allows you as riders the opportunity to compete against other riders and even riding schools all over the UK just like you could with your own horse and without the stress of leaving the centre!
* 2 x group sessions (Tuesday evenings at 7pm) solely focussed around flat work and scales of training
* 1 x practise test ride with feedback for key areas to focus on
* 1 x filming of your competitive test
* 1 x online entry- entries are made at the beginning of the month and tests should be filmed and submitted by mid-end of the month. Results available early the following month.
Q: Does this mean I get 4 ridden sessions as part of the membership fee?
A: Absolutely yes! 2 group sessions available for you to book every other Tuesday at 7pm. Then you have a private test ride with feedback (approx 30 mins) and a filming ridden session (approx 30 mins).
Q: Can I choose which horse I ride?
A: We will try our best to accomodate to requests- luckily the same horse is able to enter the same class in some instances which helps!
Q: Do I need to wear competition gear?
A: Not necessarily! Some of the classes available allow for any tack/ clothing so you do not need to go out buying extra kit. However if you keep at it, you may just want to!
Q: Does this mean I can only do one competition entry online?
A: No- you may enter extra classes at your own cost. We can then provide ad hoc extras to the club membership as needed so that you and your horse have the support and preparation you need.
Q: Can I do this with my own horse?
A: Of course you can! Just let us know in the office that is what you would like to do and we will be able to assist you with access to the benefits of the club.
Q: Would I be able to enter the Unaffiliated dressage at Tedworth Equestrian Centre?
A: Yes we can also help you prepare for one of our unaffiliated shows. However the horses are only able to compete once per class with a maximum of 3 tests in a day. Unaffiliated shows are outside of the Dressage club package but are fully supported through the extras available and horses should be booked seperately through our office.
Q: How do I sign up?
A: To join us in Dressage club, go to your subscriptions and click on Dressage Club. Once signed up, the availability for group sessions will appear on your EC Pro booking system in the lesson section. We will also send you an email to welcome you to the Club and how to get you started.
Q: Can I do a trial month to see if this is something I would liike to continue?
A: Of course! Please note if you want to trial for one month only, make sure you don't have the membership on auto renew. Any problems please get hold of the office and we will happily assist.
